Yeoman McAllister were responsible for developing the masterplan at the existing historic Paper Mill at Kinleith. The site is located in Currie to the west of Edinburgh and along the Water of Leith Corridor. The site had been vacant since demolition of the old mill buildings in 1996.
engaged for PPP (Planning Permission in Principle) and AMSC (Approval of Matters Specified in Conditions) at Kinleith Mill.
The site is located on the western edge of Blairgowrie and extends to approximately 29 hectares.
The masterplan takes cognisance of the prominent location along the Perth Road and the existing landscape structure topography and surrounding woodland. The masterplan included provision for a potential new care home, hotel site, retail / business opportunities and up to 200 new houses.
