MacDonald Estates and Kaplan provided Yeoman McAllister with a brief to deliver a boutique student residence for 75 students on a challenging corner site in Glasgow’s West End. The building contains 5 storeys of student accommodation above a Sainsburys retail unit on the ground floor.
Combining traditional and contemporary materials to acknowledge the surrounding context, the building is faced with both natural sandstone and brick to address the two juxtaposed streets it addresses.
